Dr. Tibbals was an absolute hero for me on my most difficult day. I found her when other vets were unable to come on such short notice, after it was clear my dog was starting to succumb to late stage renal failure at 17.5 years old. Dr. Tibbals came through for our family when she arrived despite the short notice, and after-hours, to my home to give my beloved girl a peaceful sendoff in familiar surroundings by family that loved her. Dr. Tibbals was a calming presence throughout the process and she helped my dog pass with dignity and care. There was no indication that my girl felt any pain during the process, and I watched her fall into a deep sleep right in my arms overlooking the backyard that she loved so much. Dr. Tibbals was highly professional and caring, and provided the emotional support I needed. I highly recommend her in your time of need.

Dr. Blair’s team performs admirably! The care and concern they devote to my dogs’ eyes is remarkable. If your pet has an eye problem, I submit that Animal Eye Care of Richmond is the BEST place for your furry family member. I highly recommend this specialty vet.

Really happy with Animal Eye Care of Richmond! My English bulldog has seen Dr. Blair and he is kind, patient, and very intelligent. He was able to find that distichia was the cause of irritation in my dogs eye. It was the most microscopic hair that no other vet thus far had found. He removed it and said it may come back and if so they would have to cryoepilate it. So, we saw him for our second appointment today and there was no growth! I asked if I should come back in two months and he said no and to wait six months. I love doctors that take a conservative approach and don’t nickel and dime you. What a good and honest vet. Highly recommend.

Our Dog Buddy got Cataracts from Diabetes, they removed them and gave his sight back after 5 1/2 months. They are a first-class facility. Worth the 5 hr drive. It’s great seeing his dark Brown eyes again as well as him running around like before. He has a great quality of life again. We are very thankful for the outcome and care he received.

They took great care of my dog and the growth on his eyelid. Diagnosed, offered to do the surgery same day for about a third of what I was expecting to pay. Clean, safe environment and caring veterinarians. They called immediately after his surgery, and gave me very clear instructions for aftercare. Huge thank you for taking care of my old boy.

Our baby Sassy (12, laying next to her brother Chopper) accidentally hurt her eye yesterday. The drs were able to save a badly damaged lid without any injury to her eye. We are so grateful! She’s happy at home, resting comfortably with her brother (who missed her terribly) by her side. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
